• Produce a rebroadcast of the football games to air on Comcast SportsNet and WDBJ7 the day after the game
• Run the department's website which includes encoding flash video of our work
• Diagnose technical problems and find creative solutions to solve them

Webmaster of Planet Blacksburg

• Seeked to improve the site after previous webmaster graduated
• Redesigned layout
• Implemented the Movable Type content management system to maintain stories and site templates
• Introduced new features such as the photostream and PBTV, Planet Blacksburg's online video channel
• New design is in progress to fit the expanding variety of content being made available
• Honestly, most everything is out-dated by now

Podcast Host/Producer

• Produce and host the HokieCast
• Write and record podcast content with own professional studio equipment
• Conduct interviews with event planners to use as sound bites
• University Relations' most popular podcast according to iTunes

• Requires a very technical way of thinking to solve problems
• Administer the department's IT support page which includes a conference room and equipment reservation system written in VB.NET and works with a Microsoft SQL server
• Manage various aspects of the network, including a database of domain users
